Is anyone else getting to watch this game? This is a good game so far, the Suns are up 64-58 at half time, in what has been a fast paced game so far. Both teams are doing some good things both teams doing some bad things. The Nets are scoring well, and having nice transition offense. They are hitting a high percentage of thier shots so far this half, shooting 53 percent. Kidd is really showing up right now with 13 points, 7 assists, and 8 rebounds. He is paving the way for this team, and really attacking the Suns and Nash. He has went down low and posted up Nash a couple of times, he is trying to drive past him, running Nash off of screens. He is really taking it at Nash while playing offense. I like Moore's movement and energy off the bench. He is providing a nice spark for this team, especially on the offensive boards where he has 2 offensive boards, and a few deflections. House is shooting well, and Vince Carter is attacking well also with 14 points, on for 7 shooting. The thing the Nets are doing I think, is shooting way to early in the shot clock, and keeping this at a pace that more favors the Suns. Sure the Nets can run, and get up and down court well, but not as well as the Suns. The Nets are going to tone it down just a bit, not let this stay this fast. The Suns are doing well on offense, keeping this game at a pace comfortable for them, and shooting early in the shot clock like they like to do. Nash is taking it back at Kidd and Williams when they try guarding him. So far he is at 11 points, 3 boards, and 8 assists. Nash is attacking and playing aggresively also. Him and Barbosa are pacing this team better than Kidd and Williams are doing. Marion is moving around on offense, getting the ball on open shots, and playing well as usual. Stoudemire is very impressive so far, particularly on offense. 6 of 6 for 13 points is good. What I find impressive is how he is scoring. I have seen him twice get the ball above the free throw line, and drive into the paint for a score. That is something most other bigs are not able to do. He is also moving around alot, and providing a nice target. This team is playing real well so far offensively. Defensively they are allowing whoever wants to come into the paint in, and not really seeming to want to step up and stop people. Bell seems to be ruining the flow of the offense here early to, he needs to lay off some of the decisions he is making offensively, or they need to keep Barbosa into the game for Bell.
I am, I've really enjoyed it... Kidd vs. Nash has been damn good, and I like watching Eddie House trying to burn his former team (though it doesn't really matter because the Suns will most likely end up winning anyway! )
At the end of three we got 92-90 now, the Suns are barely up. Both teams went out, and just kept scoring, in what may be a classic game by the end here. Kidd is now only one assist away from tying Wilt Chamberlain for most triple double games, at 78 of them on his career. That is very good company to have. 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists, not bad at all. Clangus, he is definately not over the hill.Nash would have alot more assists, but Diaw has missed like 3 easy shots and his shot is just garbage tonight.edit: Kidd got the assist, now has 78 career triple double games, which ties Wilt Chamberlain for third on the all time list behind Oscar Robinson, and Magic Johnson. Williams has hit two threes at key points here, and for two straight possesions there has been a switch on a pick that has left Nash guarding Vince Carter. Not an ideal matchup for the Suns, they have got to watch out for that switch and figure something to do.
leave it to the refs to try ruining a great game by calling bs fouls every 3 seconds against both teams :no1:
Yeah, that was all ball by Vince Carter, clean block on Amare. This game is outstanding, 128-127 right now Suns are up, these teams are making almost everything here in the fourth quarter. There was a two and a half minute span where neither team missed a shot.Edit: And now to add to this game, we are going to overtime, 133-133 on Steve Nash's huge 3 pointer with 3 seconds left on the clock. Overtime will have to be without Vince Carter however, which may not be good for the Nets. This is one hell of a game ladies and gentlemen.
what a disgrace for both teams. 133-133 after the 4th quarter? that's awful defense. it's a joke that no one plays defense anymore in the nba. the nba is getting worse each year in that category. but seriously play some defense. I'm not in any way impressed by the fact that they scored that many points because I miss the old days when teams played defense. it's layup after layup in this game and open jumper after open jumper. damn the knicks play better defense than this. whoever has the ball last is gonna win because no one is gonna stop anybody.

This is a fun game to watch for anyone that is watching.
I have only seen what was shown on TNT, so just a little glipse at the last 4-5 seconds of the 4th and the first OT. But wow, I can't beleive Nash got open and hit that 3 to force OT! Unbelievable. Then a second overtime with no Vince Carter? Ouch.
Suns have just taken the lead in double overtime 157-151. This is completely crazy, Nash and Kidd are almost pulling an "anything you can do, I can do better" type game here. Nash now has 40 points on the night. This is a franchise record in points for the New Jersey Nets.
So for one game, the Nets prove to be the Suns of the East. Finally, the bench plays great, with Williams, House and Moore.Carter is fouled out, so is Curly, and Bell and Amare.Kidd and Nash are playing great. Kidd is tied third with Wilt for all-time triple-doubles. If Nets score over 148 points, it's a new Nets record for points in a game. I'm so glad this game is aired in The Netherlands!!!!!Please win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Crap.Suns 6 point lead. Nash is playing like a MVP this week man, damn.Nash got a career high 40 points.... that's like what? The third player who got a career game against the Nets?Luke Ridnour, Steve Nash, and who am I forgetting? Wilcox?Another edit: RJ is giving it his all.....Nets set a new high, surpassing 148........Kidd gets fouled.......(I feel so alone in this thread)
too bad they were playing the suns who play absolutely no defense. everyone is gonna play well in a game like this. the suns are just too good offensively that they can get away with matador d.
Damn, Kidd lost the ball!!!!! Not now!Suns, again, 4 point lead.I mean, the Nets came back when they were 6 points behind, Kidd gives his all, and then that turnover.... IF the Nets lose, that turnover will cost Kidd some sleep, poor guy.Go Nets!F*ck.When you add both scores, isn't this the highest scoring game in years? Can anyone find that out?
Phe-f*cking-nomenal game... Just a f*cking classic, and EASILY the most exciting/best game of the fu*kin' season! 161 points!!!! Nash with 42 points and a regular season high, and JKidd with his 48th career triple-double to tie Wilt for 3rd most in history! TNT is f*cking KICKING themselves that they didn't broadcast this game!
I cant believe I missed this, this is a historic game. I promised myself after kobes 81 I would never miss something like this...DAMN :cry2: . Well, this is a instant classic so itll be on 2nite or tomorrow. WOW
