First of all I would like to say that I love the site's new look. It's beautiful.

And now I got to say, after watching this game, I truly believe this is a championship team once Amare gets back. I just see such a big difference in this team. The difference is that they put a lot more effort in defense than they did last year. They have much better effort and toughness now with Kurt and Grant. They are finally getting those rebounds. Also, they aren't running as much, but even without Amare, they got so many open shots and they forced so many turnovers. They have a lot of depth too. I see 11 or 12 guys (counting Amare) on their roster that will be very productive. Tonight they had an amazing 9 blocks and 9 steals.

I know that some guys were "hot" tonight and won't play like that every game. But what you can't take away is that they have put more effort on offense AND defense now that Amare is gone. They should do very well. I am looking forward to this season.

This was against a team that was a championship contender last season.
The Suns are still a good team without Amare.
Raja Bell, Kurt Thomas, Brian Grant, James Jones, and Eddie House were great additions.
The Suns have quality players, and this game was never close.
