was the change over to Root Sports Plus in that thread? I guarantee that axed many outlying fans that don't have Comcast from watching the exciting debut of Chance Comanche.

my hope is the Blazers don't make RS2 a permanent thing, or at least give Spectrum and other affiliates that new channel. I can't properly complain about bad coaching and terrible defense unless I actually watch the Blazers.

Seems like a good thread to drop this in. ESPN is making plans to launch a subscription-based streaming platform for their main channel that up until now has been limited to cable or other TV streaming services. The wall is cracking. Only a matter of time before we can stream whatever sports we want to subscribe to. No timeline yet on when this happens.

By making their games available on local Arizona television stations and the Kiswe streaming platform, they are increasing their potential viewership from 800,000 to over 2.8 million households. This move reflects the changing dynamics of media consumption, with more fans looking for flexible and affordable ways to watch their favorite teams.
For those interested in accessing these broadcasts on streaming platforms, you can check out the guide on how to download so player on firestick. This should help you enjoy the games on your preferred device.
Overall, this transition signifies a progressive approach by the Suns and Mercury to reach a broader audience and adapt to the evolving media landscape.

League pass really shouldn’t be blacked out for anyone who has no possible way to access local market coverage. Doesn’t matter if you are in state or not. I feel for you bro.

They give as much about the fans as the Root Sports does, Dish does, Direct does, YoutubeTV does, Fubo, etc.

They got their money, and know there's jack shit you can do about it. It's why CSN was never ever seriously going to be on Dish (I think it was Dish?) and why Root will never be on youtubeTV (which I have).

I'm half tempted to sign up for SunsTV just so they see how good of an idea it is and maybe some other teams around the league will join them.

Just texted the Suns director of broadcasting and they said they have already started this option for the preseason. I asked him about streaming as well and he sent me this.
So that's a great deal. Over the air in market except national games on ESPN/TNT/NBATV or $109 to stream the whole season.
For them, gonna suck for fans who want this, but don't want to get cable or satellite.
This season 30 of their games are on national TV. So it's $109 for about 52 games to stream and that's only if you live in PHX. I think I'm getting this right.

What about the 30 games they aren't broadcasting?

I'd listen to the radio or stream them for free the way I do now.

Once ESPN has it's streaming bundle I'll have that, as long as it's a fair value, then I'd get most of the rest.

Could you imagine this place if they had to listen to 30 games on the radio. They shit the bed not being able to watch 48 minutes against a church league team.

Well, they don't have to listen on the radio. The more they are forced to miss games the more likely they'll be to find free streams.

I watched them play the church league team last night. Pretty much everyone here could have as well.

It would be much better than the current situation of 81 games on radio.

YouTube has an awesome 10 minute recap of every game!
