Pats 23 Carolina 17 Last I saw, NE was favored by 7 and the over/under was 37.5. So that means go over and take Carolina against the spread.
Patriots 17 Panthers 14 Vinateri kicks a 4th quarter field goal, then the Patriots defense holds the Panthers to 4-and-out. Brady kneels, and the clock runs out on the Panthers.
Panthers 16 Patriots 13 in the leagues 1st OT super bowl.... ....with the score tied at 6-6 with 5 minutes left in the game, Brady leads the Pats to a TD on a 10+ play drive, throwing it to Fauria for the go ahead score, but He hate me takes the ensuing kickoff 101 yards to tie the game right back....in OT the teams exchange punts twice, and on the 2nd, Steve Smith gets loose and goes 51 yards before being knocked out of bounds at the 12 yard line, Kasey comes on and kicks the game winner immediately....Dan Morgan is the MVP with his 22 tackle, 2 FF, 1 FR, 2 sack performance
Wow I'm surprised that some of you still think the Pats could lose. Hasn't 14 consecutive wins, 7 against playoff teams taught us anything? The Patriots will roll in this one. The Panthers could only manage 14 points against the Eagles. lol How are they gonna get points against the #1 D in the league? I'll predict a slow start for both offenses. At half time the Pats will be up by just a FG. In the 2nd half things get going. Brady hits Troy Brown for a 30 yard score. THe Panthers match that with a long ball to Steve Smith. In the 4th quarter Faulk takes a screen pass from Tom & goes to the house. Pats win 17 to 7
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (bakes781)</div><div class='quotemain'>Wow I'm surprised that some of you still think the Pats could lose. Hasn't 14 consecutive wins, 7 against playoff teams taught us anything?</div> That's a pretty cocky statement!! Hasn't the 2002 Superbowl taught YOU anything? I would think you would be a little more humble considering most Rams fans sounded like that after the 2001 season. They were 14-2, playing well above everyone else at the end of the season. No one gave your Pats a chance in that game, and they managed to pull out the win. Every good streak must come to an end, so why couldn't it be against what is supposedly the best of the NFC? LOL. That said: Pats 17 Panthers 13
The difference is the panthers are going to be playing a soft team they can smack around like the rams were. My prediction. NE 16 Car 9
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pats37)</div><div class='quotemain'>The difference is the panthers are going to be playing a soft team they can smack around like the rams were.</div> Hmmm... Freudian slip?
That's pretty funny Kenn.... I wonder how that will translate for the game. I think the AFC is the better conference this year, and the Pats are the better team.... Pats 31 - Panthers 17
Pats 27 Panthers 13 Its a 1 TD game in the 4th when Delhomme starts forcing the ball and completes it right to Law for 6 the other way. I feel pretty confident about this game but the only thing that gives me doubt is the power of SF. I believe the comment was just that the Panthers wouldnt make it to the super bowl but does that statement have any power on the super bowl itself?
Sorry Pats fans. If Steelerfan and I both think the Pats will win, then the league should just go ahead and give Carolina the Lombardi trophy!
It will be Carolina and the SI cover vs. KCGSC and SF for the CURSE BOWL. My prediction is KCGSC and SF by 3.
That would be an insane superbowl bearsfan. Does Stephan Davis, Steve Smith, Tom Brady, and Troy Brown all get carried out in a stretcher as well?
I'm guessing that hes predicting all offensive players to go on strike because of all the attention the defenses have been getting.
