"It looks like the Predators will be without Steve Sullivan for the remainder of the regular season.

Nashville Coach Barry Trotz said Sullivan underwent surgery on his groin and will be out four-to-six weeks. After Sullivan went on injured reserve for a second time over a week ago, the Predators didn't appear too confident that he would be back too quickly. And now their fears have been realized.

The one positive about this is if Sullivan comes back, he probably won't need to full facemask. He seemed to really not like that. On Feb 17, he took a puck in his left eye."
