<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">No one deserved some playoff success more than Bulls center Michael Sweetney. Sweetney felt terrible after making a couple of high-profile mistakes in the first two games of the series against the Miami Heat. He came back to produce 10 points and 7 rebounds in the Bulls? Game 3 win Thursday. ?I thought Mike did a great job, and then after looking at it twice (on tape), he played better than even I thought he did watching it live,? Bulls coach Scott Skiles said. ?He had great defensive help sequences.? Sweetney endured some tough luck early in the series, missing an open layup in Game 1 and throwing a bad inbounds pass just before halftime in Game 2. Sweetney outplayed O?Neal on Thursday but refused to take any credit for it. ?It?s just one game,? Sweetney said. ?A lot of times he was open in the post and they just didn?t catch him at the right time. I was pretty fortunate.? Sweetney is undersized at 6-feet-8 but has shown flashes all season of being an effective post scorer. ?You?d like to think that guy?s aren?t riding the ?one game confident, one game not confident,?? Skiles said. ?This is the NBA. ?Having said that, what I?d like to think and what is reality are totally different things. There are a lot of guys in this league that do ride this wave. I thought Mike was outstanding yesterday, and I?m hopeful he can string together some games for us.?</div> <div align="center"> Source</div>
Michael Sweetney had another big game in game four, and along with Chandler really played good defense on Shaquille. I ‘m not sure what his stat line is for game four yet, I haven’t seen the box score, but he got rebounds over guys, posted up Doleac and took him for two, and was just solid overall. Good job Sweets!
Sweetney: 21 mins, 9 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block, 5 fouls, and a good note he shot 5-5 from the free-throw line.
