Does anyone know if you can sync your web browser with your phone, so you can send and receive texts with your phone?

I know google has an option for that (with the google #), but I meant with a regular phone #. Is there an app for your browser that makes it so you can text on your browser via your phone?

I know it's possible with an iPhone and all mac stuff. In fact, I never meant to set it up, but now when someone calls, texts or facetimes all my devices in my house go off. It's actually pretty annoying, I just haven't spent the time to figure out how to manipulate the linkage. As far as a home phone, I didn't realize those still exist.

I think some carriers let you do it but its really sucky.

Best way to do is to port your cell phone to a google voice and get a second number.
