T.O. Says Jerry Jones Broke Promise To Keep Him

Bills receiver Terrell Owens isn’t working out with his new team, but true to form he’s working out out his mouth.

Owens claims that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones reneged on a promise to keep T.O. in 2009.

“You hear all the speculation, and you talk to the owner of the team, and he reassures you, you’re not going anywhere and then, out of left-field . . . you get blindsided,” Owens told Rogers SportsNet in an interview that will be broadcast on Sunday night.

“I know whole-heartedly [Jerry Jones] wanted me there,” Owens said. “There were some people I know who got in his ear that pressured him to make that decision. For that, it’s sad. You let two or three people conspire to get me out of the situation.”

Of course. When it comes to T.O., it’s always a conspiracy of those who arbitrarily have decided to target him. Never, ever does anything happen to T.O. as a result of his own behavior.

The same thing will happen whenever it ends badly — and badly it will end, we believe — for him in Buffalo.
