    KC Johnson connects dots.
Meh... can we just fast forward a couple games to Tyrus' inevitable benching, at which point it'll be three years in a row he was benched early in the year?

By the way, Tyrus still sees himself as a 3 more than a 4.

    Tyrus is a bonehead.

    On and off the court.

He does not play a team game.

If he ever gets his act together mentally, he can be a very effective NBA player. As it stands right now, he's just not.

But, when VDN is the guy that has to lay down the law, I mean, how can a player respect that? He's kind of a dope too.

What a mess. I'm sorry for wanting him over Branden Roy. :)

Seems like Tyrus has had a case of the flu in 4th quarters of games so far.

The bulls are playing like absolute dogshit right now. In the Celtics game, it at least looked like they were trying.

It's interesting... I can agree with most everyone here. I don't like Tyrus much. I don't like Vinnie much. But Bullshooter sums things up pretty succinctly:

Down by 14 to the Bucks at halftime. Big time fail.

By the way... the league pass has a free preview going, and I'm going to say right now that they will not convince anyone to pay by showing this shitty team.

Yeah, that first half had me regretting the purchase. Not sure what to make of the second half. The bulls tried to give it back, but Milwaukee wouldn't take it.

Does anybody know if Tyrus is actually sick, or this a cover story? At least we know the bulls can look awful with or without him.

Tyrus is about to become an RFA. The modus operendi of the organization since 2000 has been to diminish the negotiating power of the players by badmouthing them, not playing them, or playing them in a way that makes them look bad (e.g. garbage time, with a misfit of teammates)

Well, all the reports I've read say he actually came to practice, had a fever, and was told to go home and rest. (KC's especially) various reports make snarky inferences, but they don't dispute that he was actually determined to be sick by the Bulls.

You know, this is one area where the Bulls, for all Paxson’s bluster over the years about the unfairness of the media, could actually step up and do something constructive. Have Pax, or Gar, or Vinnie publicly address the issue, armed with facts, rip into the media, and give a show of support to Tyrus (who we all know is insecure and could use the stroking).

That’d be a kick ass thing to do, but I doubt it’ll happen because my perception is that the Bulls have always fed that media rumor kitty when it suited them, allowed and encouraged their players to be hammered (even favored guys like Lu!) and only bitched when someone broke a story that turned out to be accurate (e.g. Paxson quitting)

    +1.

The worst thing is the Bulls mgmt begins to believe their own bullshit (e.g. "Gordon too short") and out-think themselves.

If I was a GM of a team that is capped out next summer, I am on the phone offering a top-7 protected first rounder and an expiring contract for TT pronto.

That was a really sad display of basketball in the 1st half.

I'm sitting there thinking... there was a time when the Bulls were a proud NBA organization .... now after a decade of rebuilding the team flails about trying to defeat a depleted Bucks team. Thank God they won. But, jeez, what an ugly display. Lethargic. Undisciplined. The GM is Gar Forman. The head coach is Vinny Del Negro. The incompetent Paxson still lingers about. Our young "superstar" does not look like one and is getting lit up by a rookie.

At least Deng played with an energy and effectiveness that we have not seen in a couple years.
