Why is he in the starting line up? His defense is good but he has no right to be in the starting line up eric's defense is better then his as well as his jump shot. Miles jump shot is the same and he is more athletic. I am begining to think newble becomes biased on some players he plays newble even if he does horrible but benchs miles right when he messes up. I would start miles and bring eric off the bench i like him as a spart plug.
There is already a thread going on with Miles, and we don't know what is going on with him, so we can't comment on that situation. I will though on Newble and Williams. Eric Williams is better coming off the bench, period. We need consistency coming off the pine, and Williams will give that to us every single game. Newble is the starter by default now, and maybe why that is why the Cavs and Mavs have been talking about an Ilgauskas/Jamison deal. This team needs defenders out there, Miles can't defend anyone on the blocks and has terrible lateral movement, so that is why Newble is the guy. Diop is due back next week and Wagner the week after that, so a move may be very near.
I agree with the defense..he should only be playing when defense is needed..I close my eyes everytime he takes a shot.
