Takeovers, Invisible Transfers & Mid Table Very Dissapointing loss to Arsenal , no ambition at all. However , we have to look to the future. Various papers have signalled towards Spurs as the next club to be took over. No thanks. West Ham didn't take well to it , I also believe Levy has invested well in the past couple of years. Although , one good thing to come from it may be a new or improved stadium. Goons get around ?500,000 more than us every game just because of their stadium. To those of you that have been annoyed by our lack of transfer activity , I feel were you are coming from and would of liked to see some sort of left winger at the club. I do however now believe CM is our problem : Man Utd : Carrick Arsenal : Fabregas Liverpool: Gerrard Chelsea : Lampard All the top four clubs have a pivotal player where the ball goes through them regularly , Spurs need one. The only ones available in Summer that spring to mind are Parker and Riquelme. Both very expensive , either Jol didn't spend to save money for a real leader or (probably more likely) Jol and Levy are preparing a Stadium deal. Carrick is a large reason why we are lacking in mid table this year , I hate to say it but maybe we got so close to Arsenal because they cared more of their Champs league exploits. I still believe that we can finish 5th this season , but weve got to start playing well. Robinson , Ekotto (not Lee) , Murphy should all be sold as they don't seem to be adding anything to the squad. If Keane doesn't produce 10 goals this season he should be sold. Exellent player but doesn't get enough goals. Dream and very possible side (cmon Jol show some ambition) GK Alniwck / Robinson RB Chimbonda / Staltieri CB Dawson / Gardner CB King / Rocha LB Bridge / Lee RW Lennon / Ghaly CM Jenas / Huddlestone CM Parker / Riquelme LW Sjneider / Malbranque ( Great player ) ST Berbatov / Mido or a new boy if the Egypt man can't cope. Koller? ST Defoe / Keane if not sign Bent from the funds.
