    ANY PLAYER YOU WANT!

I, MK, I hate Randy Moss' ego. Now that hes in the AFC, he will be causing some damage. Whenever he makes a TD catch, I get fired up and I wish I could lay a big hit on him. Unlike Rodney Harrison though. More like a Ray Lewis/Urlacher tackle. But if I can't do that, maybe the infamous Roy Williams horse-collar tackle. In the other hand, TO, I have no Beef with him, thats up to whoever hates him.

I know everyone is itching to talk about McNabb or Vick. I'll leave the topic active and think of other players to talk about.

    Dear, Kurt Warner

I could of won two MVP's and a Super Bowl with the Rams back then. Marshall Faulk was the real hero. Also Kurt are you going to continue to make excuses on why your team is losing. Is your thumb still sore. Huh?? The famous excuse to pretty much why the benched you. O but he was starting to win in New York some say. Some forget he had lost 3 consective games and then was benched in New York. Then you go to a Cardinal team and more and more hype surrounds the most overrated off-season team. What happens you loose 2 games. Good luck this season Kurt because I won't be rooting for you. Also if you hear a local radio station ripping your play down in Arizona please be a man and go to them yourself. Don't send you man looking wife to do the same.

    Thanks your pal

    Dear Kurt Warner,

Ignore Porky. There are bigger problems in Arizona than you...mainly the offensive line, the running game and the fact that Dennis Green is a mad scientist who benches his best players just because he feels like it.

I'm still on your side. Keep up the good work. [IMG]

    Your pal,

    PA

P.S. If the Giants had let you start every game last year, they would have made the playoffs.

Hey Porky read this before talking about Kurt...

? Career completion percentage of 65.9% ranks #1 in NFL history ahead of Steve Young (64.28%) and Joe Montana (63.24%).
? Entering 2005, his career QB rating of 95.7 ranks #2 all-time in NFL history behind only Steve Young (96.8).
? Warner?s 4,830 passing yards in 2001 represent the second-highest single-season total in NFL history (Dan Marino, 5,084 in 1984).
? Recorded nine 300-yard passing games in 1999 and 2001 (NFL single-season record is 10 by Oakland?s Rich Gannon in 2002).
? Holds a share of the NFL record for most consecutive 300-yard passing games with six in 2000 (shares with Rich Gannon, 2002, and San Francisco?s Steve Young, 1998).
? Has twice posted a perfect passer rating of 158.3 (10/1/00 vs. SD and 10/3/99 @ Cin). Became the first player in NFL history to record two ?perfect? games.
? A two-time NFL MVP (1999 and 2001) Warner was also named Super Bowl XXXIV MVP after leading the Rams to a victory over the Tennessee Titans (1/30/00).
? Became the fastest player in NFL history to reach 10,000 passing yards accomplishing the feat in his 36th career game.
? Has 30 career 300-yard passing games including two 400-yard passing games.
? A three-time Pro Bowler, Warner has a career passer rating of 95.7 and has led the NFL in completion percentage and average gain per attempt three times each, has had the highest quarterback rating and led the league in touchdown passes twice, and has finished first in passing yardage once.

Yes, he was on a great team, but he was a good passer, no doubt about that, and you couldnt even have won a game if you were on that team, let alone the SB. And about this year he has almost 600 yards passing despite no run game and a bad o-line. Im on your side too Kurt...

RODNEY HARRISON - a prime example of a dirty player. Most probably the worst head hunter since Tatum.

    T.O. - just play the f*cking game.

Thats what happens when you have Marshall Faulk the best PLAYER in the game at that time to take pressure off of you. If Faulk isn't there that team doesn't win a championship.

Not to mention Bruce in his prime. Warner is way overrated. Giants wouldn't of made the playoffs. Tom Coughlin saw it coming when Warner dropped 3 games in a row.

Boy I hope Green Bay gives Rodgers one more year if Favre retires this year and maybe we should sign Kurt Warner. [IMG]

He only dropped two in a row...and was sacked 13 times in those two weeks. I'd say that's an O-Line problem and not a Warner problem. Those two losses were by a combined 10 points.

Manning came in the following week and the Giants lost by 21...en route to Manning dropping five straight games,

Sacks are also warners fault, he does hold ball too long sometimes, but he also is playing behind some bad o-lines. Since he injured thumb, he doesnt seem to be able to hold ball the same, b4 that was elite and more. BTW porky, you could not have won 2 MVPS and a super bowl with that team, you couldnt have won a toilet bowl.

Well if u watched the games where warner got sacked 13 times then u would know tht it was his fault. When ui hold the ball for 10 sec. its going to be a problem.

I don't think the Cardinals are overrated in the offseason. Their main thing they are lacking is the d-line. Pressuring QBs are like the main things to do on defense. Their offense is okay and it wouldn't hurt to draft another RB just in case Smith starts breaking down (which is something we all see unless you are blind or don't give a hey!).

Maybe not as QB and I am sure you would of led them to the sh!t bowl. Sarcasim is hard to tell from here i guess. The fact is Warner is a professional football player and is better QB than anyone on this site. The Fact is he's in the NFL and should play like an NFL player. I'll say this. This thread is about talking about players you don't like. Why do I have to like Kurt Warner? I hate him. I am sorry. I can't stand someone who complains about a thumb injury a year after it happen. It healed by then. I will also say Trent Green would of been as sucessful as Kurt Warner had he not got hurt. Now thats an argument. My feeling is the defense was good back then and the best player in the GAME was MARSHALL FAULK. Issac Bruce was in his prime as well. Torry Holt,Ricky Proel, Az Hakim were all very good targets. He had a good offensive line. Kevin Carter was a sack artist. The defense led the league in takeaways. Marshall Faulk deserved the MVP. Not Kurt Warner. Maybe thats my hatred talking. He was overrated as a QB and is to this day. He'll NEVER suceed again!!

Edit: The Cardinals finished 11th in defense in 2004. They have a decent young defensive line. They'll come around. The question is whether the washed up Warner can lead them to a divsion title in a weak divsion. I don't believe he can and I'd like to thank our Ravens fan here for creating this thread so I can continue to expoit my hate of Kurt Warner. Sorry I can't stand him.

I know. Just not a fan of Warner. If I had a Warner jersey I'd spray paint a Big X over it on both sides and send it to Denny Green. Thats how much I dislike Kurt Warner.

I could do without Ray Lewis's little dance numbers, too. It's a reason I never liked Deion Sanders, either.

I always liked guys like Barry Sanders who just jogged up and gave the ref the ball. Now THAT'S class.

While I agree that Warner had plenty of talent around him, he set some pretty dang good records, and neither Faulk nor Bruce helped him throw the ball. He holds the record for the best completion %, not too bad from my point of view. Look at some of the other QBs out there with tons of talent but cant do crap; Harrington comes to mind... Warner has a career 96 passer rating, what more did you want the guy to do? How is he over-rated? All he did was win games and put up huge numbers.
