Tank Johnson calling out the media for their reporting on Pacman? Tank Johnson? Somewhere Jim Rome is licking his chops and checking his calendar to make sure it isn't Christmas morning.

On some level though, there's a valid point to be made, but it isn't really indicative of anything CW did. There's a weird gray area where beat reporters want to get close to athletes to gain an edge (cross into a personal domain) and at the same time have their careers dependent on reporting "hot" news that often violates the personal relation they have with these athletes. It's an interesting dynamic. From the perspective of an athlete, it's absolutely fair to speak from that personal aspect that was initiated by the reporter and criticize them for these seemingly two-faced action. Unfortunately for Mr. Johnson, the media will report on his disrespect towards the media rather than acknowledge the dynamic of the relationship that's being referenced. Alas, that is to be expected when one party in this dynamic is the one who controls the flow of information.
