Former Michigan quarterback Tate Forcier, who was expected to transfer to Miami, will not join the Hurricanes because of personal reasons, a source close to the situation told ESPN.com on Friday. As of Jan. 1, 2012, Miami will have two scholarship quarterbacks on its roster in Stephen Morris and incoming transfer Ryan Williams, who played last season at Memphis and will have to sit out this fall unless the NCAA grants a waiver.
