many in the "tea party" think this guy is a plant to split the vote in favor of Harry Reid. This guy apparantly appeared out of thin air.

    First, it's Bush's fault.

Second, why would anyone be so stupid as to run for public office with this in their closet?

    People amaze me sometimes.

The TeaParty thing is getting way too much press I think... I think journalism today gives too many idiots... er... let me rephrases that... they give too many poeple who are tiny minorities of more popular opinions huge megaphones to make them seem so much bigger. Fifty people protesting will get on the news but the 10 million at home that don't agree are ignored. It is very strange. We see so much false info... first it started with fake emails... urban legends... but now people in print media and broadcast news is doing it and sometimes they are not even aware. It is a great time to manipulate and ride the waves of crap going on out there.

It is becoming acceptable to just outright manipulate information to our own needs... heck... look at how many people word their thread titles in an intentially misleading way. It is commonplace. The problem with that is someone may only read the title... may tell someone else... pretty soon bullshit starts accepted as fact.

Take for instance the Pritchard deal going on right now... despite no real evidence everyone is repeating his job is on the line. It is weird. Penn prolly just got fired for watching porn at work and now Prichards job is in joepardy? Poeple believe it... are protesting against it etc... it is all built on guesses.

Sounds like he'd fit in well as a senator. Our pols are writing checks that even our grandkids can't cover. This guy made the mistake of not waiting until he was elected into public office before spending money that he didn't have.
