The Hornets are a great story this year, even if they are not yet a great team. But it seems they are not sneaking up on anyone now and opponents are scouting them and are better prepared to stop the Hornets even if they can't stop Paul. In the losses it seems to stem back to poor shooting from the perimeter with only Paul and West in double digits for scoring. If a couple of players stepped up and scored more consistently the Hornets might have a good run. I have not been able to see them play this year, so I would have to defer to someone who has seen them a few times. Are the losses coming from inconsistent play at SG, SF and C, are the Hornets just short-handed, or what do you think would have made the difference in the recent losses?

j.r. smith, desmond mason, chris paul, david west scoring double digits = a win for the hornets, and if mason and j.r. step their game up the hornets would do waaaaay better, i watched one hornets game this year it was the first time they play the suns at the suns court, jr had 26 pts, the only reason the hornets won was because eddie house took way too much shots and miss like 10 of them, and the hornets just kept scoring
