Even with Lebron, Kobe, Melo, Miller, and Redd on the team.
I mean I guess he isn't needed to score but I mean at least put up a couple of FG attempts. I'm glad he's rackin up those assists tho. Hey Legacy, I'm trying to help out and make the Nets forum more exciting

Like I said in the Olympic Basketball forum, Kobe Bryant and Lebron James seem to be the "faces" of Team USA, but Jason Kidd is the one who brings them all together. Jason Kidd is the leader of the team, and Team USA will only go as far as he goes. You can have a team filled with talented scorers left and right, but if you don't have someone to bring the talent together, it's worthless.
Kidd is playing amazing, the way he makes passes to Kobe, LeBron and Carmelo is insane. Brian, dont forget Carmelo ..

Michael Redd and Carmelo Anthony led Team USA with 22 each, followed by Amare Stoudemire and Mike Miller with 13 each. Anyone see his off the backboard pass to LeBron James against the Virgin Islands? That was sick. I think Jason Kidd is the best point guard in the NBA right now. You can make an argument for Steve Nash but I know if I were a general manager who needed one more piece to win now, I'd go with Kidd. He's the ultimate playmaker and I've actually modeled a lot of my game around him as well. He's an amazing passer and a great leader. Definitely one of the best players in the league and he is definitely underrated at this point in his career.
