There is no question they have missed his defense and rebounding at the position. They have missed his ability to reliably catch-and-shoot. They've missed him.

But with Howard out for the season because of a viral heart infection, Rockets players spoke of his years waiting for this season, of years spent losing with horrible teams and of a career paying dues.</div>

i never heard much about juwann howard except from somewhere that they said that he was getting paid too much for himself, but i guess they did not see how well he has adapted and made our team chemistry spark when they had seen that. indeed the team and i miss him and i really hope he could make it back to teh playoffs sometime but i hear that hes goign to be out for at least 4-6 months if not juwanna and the rest of the team knows what to do next season.

Juwan has been in the playoffs before but I think this opportunity with the Rockets has been so special for him now that they will have a shot again in the post season. I know it's been so hard for him to accept the reality that he will miss this chance again. He's an important part of the Rockets success. He's very professional, a good teamate and an obedient player who does'nt seem to complain what JVG ask him to do. I hope the best for his recovery. I know that some player who went out for so much time came back struggling. I hope also that this won't happen to Juwan.
