Teams adjusting to Lakers' defense

    Well so far the teams who have beaten us on offense are teams that rely alot of their offense on the transition and early offense. Teams like Indy, Dallas, Philly. I mean we did fine against NO and Phoenix, but they slowed down quite a bit.

    Yeah...I was thinking of making a thread about our decline in defense..

    There was a honeymoon on defensive effort the first couple weeks of the season and now its lacking. Im sure teams being able to analyze game tape of our new style defense helps but I honestly think its more of an effort thing. Ariza and Kobe are the only two so far that I havent questioned their defensive hustle. Bynum looked absolutely disinterested in playing ball in the Philly game. He played with no purpose or desire. He had a couple of flashy dunks that fell into his hands but thats it. He needs to wake the fuck up and stop pouting to the refs and about Phil. Vlad is still better on D than last year but isnt playing it as well as he did in the first few weeks.
