Recently, we've considered when and if the Denver Broncos would make a switch of full-time starting QBs if Kyle Orton struggled. The speculation in that instance is that, yes, Tim Tebow might slide into a starting role in his rookie season, in spite of all the issues with his throwing motion.

We like to consider ourselves optimists for the most part. So let's say the Broncos' base offense runs as well as it's ever run this season. Will Josh McDaniels still present us with enough Tebow Time?

According to Dave Krieger of the Denver Post, the answer is yes.

"My guess is the Broncos will lead the league in what other teams call Wildcat plays," Krieger wrote

Tebow presents an interesting problem for opposing defenses, in that as a part of the "Wild Horse" formation, he will be more adept at passing than the RBs that usually take the snap and will be able to line up as a motion WR and actually catch passes or run sweeps, unlike most QBs in the formation, who are used as decoys (or throw illegal blocks). It remains to be seen how effective this will be, but given McDaniels' confidence, we're sure to see it quite a bit.
