The Raiders had to get this deal done, and they did. The Raiders had no run defense last season and really missed having an immovable object like Sam Adams clogging the middle. Now, the Raiders have two excellent DT's in Adams and (a healthy) John Parrella. Pro-Bowl RB's of the AFC West, beware!

It would be nice to see Oakland & Pittsburgh step up this season and get back to where they were in 2002. Enough messing around! There will be no repeat for the Pats in '04.

Thanks SF! I'm starting to feel a lot more confident after that statement.

You should, but that's not going to help you repeat.

don't worry Big ted had his final run with us and will shatter his leg for going for the money instead instead of staying with a good team haha. I hope he has fun out there getting kicked around next season. I do admit I wish we could have kept him but I would agree with the pats for not giving him 4+ mil a season for the 2 years he'll play. Especially since we stopped the run just as good with him or without him. Seymour is the key to our line. I just hope we draft Saivii or the kid from miami the 360 pounder to fill his role at the nose.

As for you Steelerfan we will represent the NFL as champs again. Without a doubt. haah I wish it was that easy.

Good news first. They seem to be close to getting washington locked up for the next couple seasons before he hits the market. I think this is a smart move even though he is 36 years old. It would have been difficult to replace that kind massive run stopper and he certainly was the key to our defense turning itself around after a dissapointing 2002 season. I say draft that 335 pound DT Junior Saivii and let him learn from big Ted.

Just a few days ago you thought Washington was the *key* to to the Patriot's defense. So logic would dictate that is Washington is the key to the *defense*, and Seymour is the key to your *line*, then Washington is actually more valuable to the Patriots than Seymour.
