http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3351418 He is 33 years old, and not 31. First his name comes up in the Mitchell Report, now this. He didn't handle the tv interview very well, but I guess he was living a lie for so long it hurt to have the truth be told. He's got a year left on his deal after this one.
man that guy was interviewing him like he owed him something. Your no congressman, he doesn't have to tell you anything.
Deadspin compared it to Chris Hansen and I'd have to agree. Lying about your age isn't good, but the way ESPN went about attacking him with it was ridiculous.
I don't think ESPN conducted the interview? Didn't they say they got it from someone else? The guy doing the interview was a cock sucker. He had no business approaching Tejada that way, asking if the Federal Gov. knew. Fuckin' bitch. I don't think this is that big of a deal, I think a lot of Latin American players lie about their age (Pujols is one, imo).

Nice. If Tejada was in his prime and doing "this is SportsCenter" commercials I bet they wouldn't sandbag him for cheap ratings. ESPN makes me sick.
He's been on a decline for a couple years now. Not saying I expected it, or had any idea, but it's not really too surprising.
I'll respect ESPN when they set up an interview with LeBron and trot out an illegitimate kid or proof his mom was a hooker without telling him. - thereby severing their access to him for eternity. Think that'll ever happen?
