Then, after a round of meetings, the players parted ways for the bye week. Through the first 10 weeks of the season, the Titans were consistently inconsistent. Nothing illustrated that more than the past two games, when they became the first team in NFL history to win by 30 points a week after losing by more than 30. With six games left, the Titans (4-6) hope they can put together a stretch run that will keep them in playoff contention. The AFC is still jumbled behind the division leaders, so coach Mike Munchak said his team believes it can be a wild-card contender. "A lot has to happen our way, but all we can control is to keep winning," Munchak said. "And we haven't won more than two in a row this year, so we have a lot of work ahead of us.
