Many of those who participate in NASCAR have demonstrated a need for speed. The five inductees into the NASCAR Hall of Fame not only had a need for speed. They also had a passion. That passion drove them to do great things for a sport that celebrated its seventh five-member Hall of Fame class Saturday at the Charlotte Convention Center. Former drivers Terry Labonte, Jerry Cook, Curtis Turner and Bobby Isaac were joined by racetrack operator Bruton Smith as inductees.
