Just seeing if we are still active lol...its been a few days since Ive read about Girardi sucks...AV doesn't show enough emotion, Talbot is a horrible starting goalie and should be banished to the bench and backup role for the rest of his days on earth.

Not to mention the debate on the worthiness of Glass and his negative +/- figure...

wish McD would get his head out of his ass and of coarse, when will hank play a good game in Montreal..

    did I leave anything out?

    Rangers in 6!

You want something to think about...the regular season ends 5 weeks from today. The Rangers have 5 back to backs over those 5 weeks...including the next 3 Saturday's and Sunday's...wow. That is tough. This rest for Hank will be very good big picture I think.

I believe Hank is back the 18th or 21st. That would mean he misses 5 or 6 more games. And will be back for the last 13 or 14 games.

My guess is Skapski will play at Buffalo next Saturday night and Cam gets the rest (4 or 5 games) of the games. Then Hank will be back shortly thereafter.

And how. Does anybody besides me think that Staal and Klein should be our number 1 d pair?

Yandle has played with Klein mainly in his two games. Staal has been with Boyle. I think these pairs give us the most balance. Maybe as we get later in the playoffs you put Staal and Klein back together, but I think Yandle and Boyle together isn't a perfect pair since both like to step into the play. Seems like pairing them with Klein and Staal makes the most sense.

Give the Pens credit for how they have been playing. About 10 days ago I thought they were in trouble and would battle with the Caps for 3rd/4th, but man have they played well. Beat the Ducks and Kings out West on back to back nights, good stuff for them.

Anytime you have Malkin and Cindy you can never count them out I guess.

These last 17 or 18 games in the Met are going to be very interesting. The Caps look like they will be 4th for sure barring some kind of crazy hot streak. The top 3 spots are going to be a battle between us, the Pens, and the Isles.

Right this second with games in hand we are 4 up on the Pens, 5 up on the Isles, and 11 up on the Caps, and we own the TB over all 3 teams already despite playing less games. But who knows if we win those games in hand. The next 3 games in 4 nights will go a LONG way in determining who ends up where as we play at the Hawks, at the Isles, and at the Caps.

I "wanted" the Pens most of all, but truthfully I am now at the point where I'm saying all 3 of those teams are tough, so let the chips fall where they may. No matter if we play the Pens, Isles, or Caps it won't be an easy series. We could lose any of those series. I just say give me 1st or 2nd so we can get game 7 at home round 1, and away we go.

Going to be a fun 34 days before the main even starts.
