It'll get worked out. They have the money.

They said a few months ago that it would be done in a few months, but it's clearly not lol. The loan deal (as I understand) expires at the end of this season, but they have an option to buy him outright for (I think) £35m (could have been £25m but I swear there was a big deal about a British record) by the end of the season. Hopefully they'll sort it all out.

£35m is way too much. I've seen that number thrown around too.

Watch out for City guys. They're trying to get everyone and their mamas.

They key is that United have an agreement whereby they have first dibs on him at the end of the year. £35m might be too much but, especially with Man City throwing stupid money onto the table, the transfer market could get inflated over the next few years, so £35m might not be too much after all.

Oh well I think United will pay up for him although I thought we allready owned him, or was that just for the loan?

I will post my sources next time I post United news.
