Hoping that he might still be able to salvage his once-promising career, the Houston Texans have claimed Courtney Watson on waivers. Watson The two-year veteran was waived by the Buffalo Bills earlier this week. To create a roster spot for Watson, the Texans released rookie linebacker Trent Bray. Originally selected by the New Orleans Saints in the second round of the 2004 draft, Watson is actually joining his fourth different team in less than four months. He was traded to Miami in May for linebacker Eddie Moore. That deal was nullified, however, when Moore failed his physical exam with the Saints. Watson was then dealt to Buffalo on June 6 for third-year tight end Tim Euhus.
