"Here's what I think will happen in the first round for the Texans. I believe if Illinois outside linebacker Whitney Mercilus is still on their board, the Texans will draft him. Mercilus had 16 sacks and nine forced fumbles last season, then entered the draft as a junior to take care of his parents, who emigrated from Haiti. I believe if Mercilus is gone and Stanford offensive tackle Jonathan Martin is available, they'll take him. I think Mercilus and Martin will be taken when the Texans make the 26th pick. But if Martin slides, as a few predict he will, he would fit ideally with the Texans' zone system. I believe if Mercilus and Martin have been drafted and Georgia guard/tackle Cordy Glenn is available, they will select him. Glenn is 6-6, 345 and all muscle. He ran the 40 in 5.09 and 5.19 at the combine. That's amazing for a player that big. I introduced myself to him in New York on Wednesday, and he said he'd love to play for the Texans." read more: http://blog.chron.com/ultimatetexans/2012/04/texans-should-take-olb-or-o-lineman-in-first-round/
