The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have signed guard Mike James from their affiliate team, the Texas Legends, for the twelfth GATORADE Call-Up of the 2012-13 NBA Development League season. James earned the call-up after playing just two games with the Legends and joins more than 115 NBA Players with NBA D-League experience currently on an NBA roster. James (6-2, 195, Duquesne) has 10 years of NBA experience under his belt, playing last season with the Chicago Bulls averaging 4.8 ppg in 11 games. In the 2005-06 season with the Toronto Raptors, James averaged over 20ppg, 3.2 rpg, and 5.7apg. James also played seven games with the Erie Bayhawks last season averaging 21ppg. In his first game with the Legends, James tallied 26 points, 1 rebound, 4 assists to help lead the Legends past the Tulsa 66ers. On Monday, he added 11 points, 1 rebound, and 4 assists for a win over the Idaho Stampede in the NBA D-League Showcase.
