Point guard Andre Miller played a key role in bringing the Nuggets out of the cellar to the playoffs his very first year on the team, which was the year Melo arrived, 2003-04. He grew as the team did and became a little better leader and feeder every year. He never missed a game his entire time with the Nuggets and started every game.

Like the greatest point guards, he adjusted his tactics depending on the opponent and the circumstances, and he took advice and direction from coaches regarding which plays to run against very different teams.

He had 501 assists in his first year on the team, 2003-04, 569 assists the next year, and a huge 674 assists last year (8.2 per game). His 11 points a game was usually guaranteed, and he would rise to any challenge to get more. For example, last night, he took some of Melo's shots and had 27 points, 5 assists, 2 steals and, amazingly, 9 rebounds. Ask Camby if you doubt me that Dre is one of the absolute best guards in the league.

Andre is the real deal and the 76er's got a very fair trade deal as long as they get a good draft and I don't see how they don't get a big draft return when you look at who is available in the draft.

The 76ers are getting the most professional and intelligent point guard available and one with enough experience to be a leader. He is absolutely a perfect fit for the 76er's rebuilding project to go along with their three first round picks in what will be one of the best draft pools ever.

There is a standing ovation waiting for Andre when he returns to Denver; everyone knows there is no other point guard we could have gotten on the team to instantly move us from last to the playoffs.

The Nuggets struck gold when they acquired Dre.

Thanks Dre for making the Nuggets respectable again.

If we win the Ring this year it's yours too. C ya bro

I've never really been a huge fan of Andre Miller, but after reading more and more about him after the trade, I can't say I still feel the same way. From what I have read, the guy is a professional, and he will do wonders with helping the development of guys like Andre Iguodala and Rodney Carney. I hope the guy is successful in Philadelphia and has tons of fun with alley-oops to Dalembert and the duo of Iggy and Carney

Best of luck with Iverson to you all. I'm sure you guys will enjoy him [IMG]

You need to thank Andre Miller for coming into the season overweight and out of shape. His failure to dedicate himself to working hard over the summer, has now landed him on a team headed for the draft lottery.
