Masked by a joke (also not intended). But it isn't funny. The only funny thing about it is that it appeared on NRATV. It is the kind of thing, no doubt, that Trump would retweet. It's divisive and incredibly offensive and the intended audience is the what's-the-big-deal people-who-seem-to-be-closeted-bigots in our country. I wonder why does inclusion bother certain people so much. I know who it'll bother in the forum. But why? Personally, I don't have to agree with everything on the planet, especially things that don't concern me at all. So if Thomas the Train wants to diversify, who gives a fuck. I think introducing children to acceptance and tolerance is our only hope to combat future generations of bigotry; normalizing differences in custom and appearance. So again, why? The people that agree with this viewpoint. The people that say ALL lives matter. The people that say "Well, if they say it, why not I..." The people that say "If they hadn't crossed the border illegally, then their kids would be with them today..." Etc etc etc. If you're honest with yourself, you have to admit that these viewpoints divide and isolate people, right? Political correctness can be tough to keep up with sometimes, but it keeps things fair and honest. I have no conclusion, just irritation. Side note: "Stand with America's Most Patriotic Team On A Mission To Take Back The Truth." That is the Slogan of NRATV. Wtf.

Eh, nope. I'll add this. I don't find it divisive. However I can see the viewpoint, right or wrong. On how some could. I believe stuff like that needs to be taken into account if we're ever going to get rid of the plague appearance the world faces. Without it, the same old arguments come into the equation. We'll never get anywhere if those are arguments are given a seat at the table.
The OP simply misses the entire point of how hypocritical and ridiculous the changes to the cartoon are, and what a disgusting attempt at brainwashing and race-baiting our children it is.
