That game is the perfect example of why we wont win a title with Roy and LA

Superstars like Kobe, Melo, Durant, etc dont have games like Roy just did, Too say it was pathetic is being nice. Not only was he 3-12 but he misses free throws and just doesnt seem to be involved when out there. I mean, there was a huge gap in the 2nd when we were getting killed and roy did NOTHING. Thats what superstars do? I dont know but I just dont see it. Im beginning to think Roy is more like a Granger/Iggy then a Melo or Durant. Those kinda stars are acrap shoot. Likley can get you playoffs but thats the ceiling.

And then theres "LA" lol. What a disgrace. Big game? LA melts. Big shot. Wants no part. Big rebound? Hopes his teammate gets it. When we were down 7 in teh fourth and they miss a shot. LA literally just stood there and watched the NENE grab the board. If i was nate I would have benched his ass right there. His performance on offense was bad enough.

If you plan on winning titles with these two??? You gonna be pretty disappointed. Denver showed the difference between contenders and borderline 8th seeds.

Your act is so tired and played out, Rudy. Go take some E and get down to some house music.

So the Blazers (our two so called stars) played like a team trying to make the playoffs? Roy looked like a guy who could win us title.

No... this is just a blazers fan COP OUT as usual.

If Kobe didn't have games like that, I wouldn't be getting whooped every other week in my fantasy league.

Brandon (last night) 3-14, 12 pts

Kobe (last week) 3-17, 14 pts
(injured for a couple of weeks)
(week before that) 2-12, 5 pts
(week before that) 4-19, 11 pts
(week before that) 4-21, 12 pts

And that's just since January. Kobe Bryant has single-handedly fucked my team over on more than one occasion.

I thought Aldridge's game was OK. I only saw the second half and it seemed that of the few times he actually had the ball in his hands he either scored or made an assist about 75% of the time.

Roy didn't seem to be doing much on either side of the ball, and seems to admit himself that his head was not in the game: "It was frustrating," Roy said. "Just being out on the court and feeling like you were out of it. I gotta do a better job because guys look at me and if I seem as if I'm not into it, then I think they kind of follow."

It seemed like Miller sat too long in the fourth and then when he was brought back in it was with Roy and Bayless also in, so we were very small. Should Roy have told Nate he just didn't have it or should Nate have seen that, maybe.... I suppose Nate was hoping Roy would snap out of it. Either way, I don't think it has any long range implications.

    LOL

"Kobe has an excuse with his injuries. Is Brandon going to keep crying about his injuries?"

What? Kobe gets the benefit of a double standard?

I guess there were better players to draft in the 2006 draft. They should have kept Telfair and Ratliff and Khryapa, better that than these guys. I'm going to dwell on it for four more years.

if your content with first round exits... roy and la are perfect.

i guess we should have stuck with the old jailblazers cause thats what they did.

this version just has a nice face on it.

All one of their first round exits. They're 0-1. That's .000 on any calculator. Zip for one and zip for a million are the same. It's like life, lose once and you don't get any more chances. If this team has taught us anything, it's that no matter how many or how few players are on the court, they will always play .550-.650 basketball.

I was wondering when you were going to turn against Roy, and here it is.

Is there a player that you like on this team? A coach? Anything? The logo? Is there any fucking aspect about the Portland Trailblazers that you enjoy?

He likes the logo, the brand name. We've established that. That's about it, though.

Seriously, this shit gets old Mixum....

it was a loss to a very good team on the road, DEN was shooting lights out and POR hung in there, but poor DEFENSE and the inability of the coaching staff to get players to RUN\PUSH the ball more on offense were the main reasons POR lost....

    Finally someone gets it!

The Stache already has a championship ring. Roy and LA don't.

Looks like the Blazers should have drafted the Stache.

Haha, Ammo winning the title was the worst atrocity ever. When it dawned on me that it happened (because you don't really see him on the court, so it takes a bit of time to hit you), I couldn't stop thinking about all the times he's going to spend in sports bars two years from now talking to his haters, saying "What? I couldn't hear you over my championship ring."

As a Blazer fan I would say JR Rider winning a championship ring with the Lakers is the worst atrocity ever.

Ammo's ring will look good on his resume when he goes looking to play in Europe next year, oh and the fact that he's not afraid to cry in public after a loss. Europeans love players who cry.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
*nod* Kobe, Melo, Durant, Oden, etc.

Good thing we got Oden, right? Even if Roy settles in as merely a complementary star, Oden gives us our franchise superstar. Future is bright, eh, MIXUM?

While I will agree his sctick gets old, he does have a point. I don't think Roy or LA will ever lead us to the promissed land.
