That game was boring from the drop of the puck

Yes, they need Nash against a team like LA but they absolutely need to get another scorer. Our faceoff's are a disgrace. Thus, why the idea of O'Reilly is appealing. He's usually 51 to 52%. He's not even taking faceoffs for the Av's because they are letting McKinnon try them and he's 38%. So, to me, they aren't banking on him long term. I really think O'Reilly is the move but I can see Moulson and Ott being an easy move for Sather to make.

The bottom line is we need some more O in here on top of Nash, and Glen needs to wake the F up and get it done. That guy can be so useless sometimes. Wake up old man.

Last night was a tough L, but is what it is. In a way it was a bad flashback for us.

Terrible PP, pass up good chances to shoot with lower % passes, over pass, and cannot score. Scary flashback.

One comment on Zucc, he has been very good for us since he was scratched, but the guy needs to shoot the puck, or at least pretend to want to shoot the puck. He had one amazing chance, and one okay chance, and both times he didn't even look at the net and instead was looking to pass the second he got the puck. The first chance he was 1 on 1 with the goalie, and literally passed it back to Stepan who had a dman all over him. It sounds crazy, but after a low % play like that I would have sat him a shift or two. That really hurts the team. MZA has to think shot sometimes to keep goalies and D's honest.

Like I said, what can you do. Can't get upset. It was simply a bad flashback for us last night. Let's hope it won't last too long with Nash back tomorrow or Thursday.

    And WAKE UP SATHER.

An absolute bore is right mixed in with the frustration of not shooting the puck when they had some good looks. Zucc trying a low percentage pass back to Stepan when he was pretty much in all alone was pure stupidity. Then on the PP which included a couple of two man advantages they were back to passing the puck way too much looking for the perfect shot. They miss Nash big time.

Give us Moulson, Ott and a healthy Nash and I will take my chances with this team this year in the playoffs........

I keep seeing talk about Moulson and Ott here, and I'd like to see it too, but is there any substance to that possibly happening?

Was watching it all and heard them say Scott Arnel was going to pop a vein....sounds familiar.

Nothing about either coming to NY but Buffalo will absolutely trade Moulson...He is a UFA in July and at 30 is not a good fit to resign there. I think Ott is going too they need to restock.

Now the cost is another issue....
