Sean Hill....Alex Smith...Troy Smith....JT OSullivan...Chris Weinke...Trent Dilfer...Ken Dorsey...Tim Rattay...Balls McSuck...Throaty Von Coatey...etc what do they all have in common? they all suck. they all suck really hard. they suck like your uncle rico down at the truck stop. they suck like you are drowning and my balls are full of oxygen. but i might be looking at this a little short sightedly, one of these players has a chance to continue playing with the 49ers... alex smith-#1 overall pick, thinks his recievers are 7'8", likes to scramble into defensive linemen. has a immeasurably generic name. I have always TRIED to root for the kid for petes sake, he just makes it so damn hard career 57.1% completion percentage negative td/int ratio stupid name basically the trifecta of qb suckage so what to do? cut his stupid ass and sign anyone and draft anyone and move on for gods sake, a couple options could be: in the draft Blaine Gabbert Cam Newton Colin Kapaernick through free agency/trade donovan mcnabb kevin kolb vince young i think beyond a shadow of a doubt, any one of mcnabb/kolb/young should win us the division next year, and ANY qb we draft would be an upgrade in the potential department, there is just no sense in continuing to "develop" alex fucking smith.
lol, having a generic name as a reason for sucking is a new one to me. But I agree, his time to develop is over. What year of his career is he into now... 6th? Way to late to be developing a guy, besides they haven't even signed him yet and now they can't because of the lockout, so he's done in San Fran. If Gabbert is on the board when they pick, Gabbert to 49ers take it to the bank.
i would be happy with gabbert, although i would like them to bring in a vet for this season, VY would be epic imo

According to Schefter, the Panthers are going to take Cam Newton. As Niner fans, you guys should be ecstatic! You can only hope Blaine Gabbert falls that far.
