I don't know if this is out there already. I tried to look through the titles of all the posts but didn't see anything. Sorry if this is a dupe, but I thought I'd share something I saw on Ch.7 news this evening for all who missed it...

Thanks for posting that. This guy just amazes how his head is straight. This could have easily been a disaster, but he came here and he is going to turn this franchise around. It is just amazing. I agree with him. I think all we really need to do is for everyone to get better and I mean EVERYONE.

Davis:get healthy and in the best shape of his life
Jrich: improve on ball handling, getting to the hoop, and defense
Dunleavy: get more aggressive, quicker stronger
Murphy: get in shape, add more strength and quickness. Work on low post offense and defense
Foyle: Work on low post offense

Fisher: Keep working on shot and PG skills
    Pietrus: Work on outside shot
    Zarko: strength and defense
Biedrens: strength, low post offense and FT shooting

Great interview. I love his attitude, he brings a great swagger to our team. Just look at what he did to Dunleavy (custodian's sig says it all). Thats a nice list of possible improvements WarriorFan, but I dont think Foyle will ever have a post up game. You cant teach an old dog new tricks. If he comes into the season in shape and getting 10 rebounds and 2 blocks with a few point blank dunks per game, i will be satisfied.

Considering he used to have a low post game for Colgate when he came out I think he could develop it. For him it is just a matter of getting a few touches. He will never score 20pts on Shaq, but he could put up 20 a few times this season, but I am right there with you. He needs to average over 10 rebs per game and 2-3 blocks per game if not more.

What teams did he play against at Colgate? I dont think Colgate's competition is very tough. He may have been able to pound his way under the basket for a dunk or layup back in college and he also probably got a lot of offensive rebounds for put backs.

If he comes into the season out of shape again I hope the Boss gets on his ass really bad, maybe bad enough for Foyle to demand a trade now that he has a giant contract. It could happen, i hope...

Granted, Colgate is not a college power house, however he also lead the NCAA in career blocked shots. They said the same thing about him when he came out of college, but he has shown in the pros he can still block shots. He is the franchise leader for blocks and is always in the top 10 even though he does not get big minutes. Just imagine if he had started this whole time...

He's brought hope to the bay area, which is good. Now the biggest fear is if Cohan takes it away and sells the team to somebody really bad like Bruce Ratner, liquidates our roster and then Baron Davis goes to the press like Jason Kidd did after Kmart got traded for 3 1rst rd draft picks. I like the positive change, but it's too good to be true. Something always happens knowing the Warriors.
