Seeing it in action last night should be a real eye opener.

We had a lineup of Hinrich, Dunleavy, Taj, Deng, and Nazr out there. That's our whole bench.

Dunleavy can shoot if they run a play for him. He's not particularly a scorer, right?

Taj is looking less like the beast he was in preseason (so is Rose) and more like the typical Taj we've seen the past few seasons. He's very good. Not going to feed him in the post to get basket after basket though, and he certainly isn't going to create his own shots. He gets open shots because teams let him shoot. I would let him shoot outside shots, too.

Nazr? *snicker* Even in his prime he wasn't much of an offensive threat.

Kirk? It's been 7 years since he's been a potential 2nd option kind of guy.

Which leaves Deng, who should be shooting just about every shot with those 4 on the court with him.

We got 16 points from the bench last night. On 5-18 shooting.

Taj got 15 points by himself against Indy.

The beauty of our bench over the past few seasons is that someone always seemed to step up. I'm seeing the real possibility of a lot of 16 point combined scoring nights.
