I was watching this TV Show "The Best TV Shows That Never Were" and tougth of this topic "The Best NBA Superstars, That Never Were". I think that in reacent years, there were a lot of overhyped players, but wich one was the bigest bust!? I will give my vote to Mr.Darko Milicic who was selected with #2 Overall pick in 2003 by Detroit Pistons.

So the Pistons draft a teenage Euro, win the title and go to game seven in the finals in the next two seasons afterwards, with a stacked frontline, and he's already a bust? Crikey, some people are impatient. You can bring up Wade all you like, but the top four in that draft were set. No matter who picked, it was always going LeBron, Darko/Melo and Bosh. There are far bigger draft busts out there than Darko.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Sir Desmond:</div><div class="quote_post">There are far bigger draft busts out there than Darko.</div> Ok, ok, maybe he is not the perfect example. I am trying to find someone, who was caled to be a star in NBA, bet never developed his potencial... Someone like Dajuan Wagner who was compared to Iverson, or Jerome Moiso who was compared to Garnett...

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting playmaker31:</div><div class="quote_post">Harold Minor, the next Jordan lol. Don't forget Sam Bowie.</div> Bowie isn't a bust. He wasn't projected to be a Hall Of Famer. His only problem is that the Blazers (had Clyde Drexler at his prime) were stupid enough to go for need rather than BPA. Any player who has career averages of 11 PPG and 10 RPG can't be considered a bust.

And also the way he just faded out of the league with the Lakers due to injury has alot to do with the perception of Sam Bowie, he was never great but he had a couple good years with the Blazers and Nets. Alot of Centers nowadays would love to average 14 & 8, which is about what Bowie could give you when healthy. 14 & 8 at the 5 spot now makes you about a top 5 to top 8 Center in the league. As far as Harold Minor goes, to be fair to him, he got the Nickname Baby Jordan for his Jordan like athletism not Jordan like skills, I think alot of people misinterpped that.
Hello?! Is everyone forgetting about Oliver "Tariq Abdul-Wahad" Miller? I used to fantasy draft him onto my NBA live teams because I wanted to get this guy with the most hilarious name on my team haha.
