I do like his comment about no one recognizing the contributions Miller has made.

Gee John, could that be because your fishwrapper has been crapping all over the guy since the day he was signed?

This is why I dislike Canzano so much.

Over 9/10 of his stuff has a bunch of out and out lies and speculation. When he satates, "many people say", that's Canzano code for "I'm making this up"...

He wants to be controversial and in the end he just looks like an ass.

Then a few times a year he up and writes something like this. Not necessarily a sweet piece, but one with both honesty and integrity (like the one he wrote about the head ref after the blown call a few years ago at the Oklahoma/Duck game) and the question is, 'why don't you do this all the time?'. He can if he wanted to, but just lives the life of an ass as a writer.

He could be one of the best sports writers in the nation, but he wastes his talent away. That's why I dislike him so much.

    Good read.

As Blazer Prophet said, it would be nice if he wrote more stuff like this instead of always trying to stir up trouble/controversy.

lol... I just dont see why people let Canzano get to them so much. I disagree with him a TON but I respect the dude's opinions he gives and him hearing others out. Good guy for this market.

Did you count the votes? Did a CPA firm audit the count? I've read that too, but I don't believe it. Of all the sportswriters, you think they've heard of him, much less vote for him? And the article was garbage as usual. A waste of my 10 minutes. All he said was that McMillan's doing a great coaching job. Duh.

Best sportswriter in the nation? Even in the Northwest? Balderdash. The vote was faked.

There was never a vote. I've heard or read it stated by at least a half dozen sportswriters, though.
