Is This Guy:[IMG]Who is he?Mike Abdenour, Trainer, Detroit Pistons. He's served the Pistons for 27 Years, being here for all of our NBA Championships and 7 of our 9 Division Crowns. He's one of the few guys that has been around the NBA long enough that in a non-coaching role, he contributes. He's the guy every single players sees every single day. Every single time a player goes down, he's there. Here's to you, Mike Abdenour

I agree. Mike Abdenour is the best trainer in the league. He is the reason we don't have a lot of injuries along with Arnie Kander.

I remeber reading an SI article about these two a few years ago. It said that Mike is the best trainer in the league. As Ripcity said, he's the reason we don't have a lot of injuries.

Plus, I heard he was the first guy to get Rip to wear the mask.

Big, big reason why we won the 2004 title. The history of the Pistons shows that their has been a small number of injuries, all the way from the Isiah days to today. You can relate that to Grant Hill. As soon as he leaves Detroit, he goes down with an injury-rittled career. Maybe it's coincidence, but I'm still overwhelmed to have Abdenour and Kander.

I love Mike, he brings energy and enthusiasm from a postition on a team that you don't often see with other teams. He keeps our boys healthy, and the thing I love the most is at timeouts where he stands outside the huddle with his arms crossed standing there like a badass.
