It's time for another big test; we failed our first big test against the Celtics in ridiculous fashion and now it's time for us to face Kobe and the Lakers. The odds are stacked against us, but odds can be deceiving. The number 1 goal is to force Kobe to score less and rely on his team a bit more..and then as he starts to rely on his other teammates shut them down: the Lakers have an all around team but they slack off on defense sometimes so we will have to take advantage of that if it happens tonight. to many people the Lakers are the favorites to win the title this year and with that said the Bulls who are far from expected to win the title are supposed to lose tonight. Maybe we can make a statement tonight and force the Lakers to go 7-2. In order to make this a reality, everyone will need to step up. Everyone who steps on that court will be a key player and will need to contribute Offensively and Defensively....This should be a thrilling and competitive game if we play solid all around basketball like we did against the Mavericks (2nd - 4th quarters). We cannot afford to go down 24 - 5 against the Lakers there is a 95 percent chance that we will have lost the game. Can Chicago take the Lakers out of their game like the Pistons? We shall see. Bulls are playing with alot of hustle.. Gooden is on fire...Bulls just making tiny mistakes that is causing the to see saw
The Lakers are the tortoise and the Bulls the hare. We're already in foul trouble and it's not going to get better. We'll be playing scrubs against their starters a lot of this game.
Obviously the bulls braintrust identified Radmonavic as the key defensive assignment because BG is such a defensive stalwart...
The Bulls are playing with some passion are are managing to hand around by two...BG has gotta hit on more of his attempts.
Who wouldn't? For all the talk about starting, BG sure doesn't do much in the first 6-10 minutes of the game.
Gordon's giving up 6" to Kobe and 8" to Radmanovich. But hey, Kobe hasn't done much in the first 6-10 minutes of the game either, nor has Radman.
It's not like they don't have any other viable options. Radman is the fifth option, which is why they are hiding BG on him. They are killing the bulls on the inside. The shocking thing is that the bulls are still in it even with BG's slow start.
Thomas is doing really well right now with his passing and getting around the hoop! *Bulls are getting to the rim!
Anyone got a working link (aka not justin.tv, or stoogetv, which uses justin.tv for it's video). Stupid league pass idiotically blacking out the game when it said on the schedule it wouldn't be blocked out.
