John Hollinger writes about the NBA's version of the Boston Red Sox. The newest generation is looking pretty good, in my opinion, but will it be enough to eventually overcome all those demons? <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">You don't have to play baseball to be cursed. While the long, dark era of "The Curse" is over for Boston, basketball also has its share of lamentable losers. Now that the Red Sox erased themselves from the list of the damned, it's a perfect time to consider what basketball team, if any, is most deserving of the "cursed" mantel.</div> http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/writ...urse/index.html
I dunno, tha Cavs and Kings should also get honorable mention here. While both don't have a history nearly as long, the Cavs, with Boozergate and MJ's shot and all, I think should get some consideration. And the fact that they've sucked for so long. Guess they lucked out on that Lebron kid though. And the kings, their heartbreak over the last 5 years, while it's only 5 years, should automatically give them some consideration. I've lost a lot of money over those 5 years thanks to my boys in Sacto.
Sorry....kings still havn't been as burned as the suns. Did they get to the finals in the last five crappy years and then lose it? No... The suns lost to the bulls when they should of won. Yes i'm biast but they should of won.
