This is ubsurd, the amount of jump shots this team takes. To live and die by the jump shot will be their impending downfall. With no real viable threat inside at the Forward position, besides KG, they are paper thin. With the return of Wally right around the corner, it makes the situation even worse. Even though he has a high percentage from the field, he wil only provide MORE jump shots. The Wolves DESPERATLEY need an inside threat, besides KG, on Defense and on Offense, someone who can provide 16+ ppg, 6-10 rebs, 1-2 bpg. A star post player would only spread the floor and create open looks for everyone, draw fouls, get to the line, not to mention take some pressure off of the Big Ticket. Wally should be traded, when he gets healthy, for the likes of Sheed, Martin, Harrington, etc. The problem WILL NOT CHANGE unless the management does something to help the situation. Hint to the Wolves: THIS IS NOT THE EAST, you either compete or get left in the dust.

What's really killing us is our turnovers. It is still early in the season, you can't assume that we will do horrible after 10 games when there are 74 more left. Take last years Lakers for example, got off to a slow start, and finished 5th in the West, which isn't to shabby.

I guess you don't want the Wolves to finish 5th seed. Neither do I.

The situation now is close to unacceptable. We brought in Olowokandi to be the other inside presence besides KG. So far, he is not up to the expectations. I really hope that Wally and T-Hud's return will shake things up.

Last in FT attempted, last in point in the paint, last in fast break points, shall i go one? The situation is like another poster said, unexceptable. Candy is not the savior everone thought he would be, a Defensive and Offensive monster. The olther night Candy grabbed 0 rebs against CHI in 25 minutes, 0! We cannot compare on paper on in reality to the likes of SA, Rose, Duncan and Rasho. LA, Shaq, Malone and George or even SAC who has Peja, Miller, CWebb, and Vlade. All we have is KG, and a bunch of benchers starting at the Forward position opposite of KG, Candy is a decent center when he is healthy. There is no way around it, you have to tackle the problem head on to solve it. Trade for inside help ASAP.

i agree...they should have an inside presence...especially when KG is on the bench...i rarely see Kandi bang inside...all he does are hook shots from the baseline...

Anyone but me aware of the fact that there are about 70 more games left in the season. How a basketball fan fan freaks out in NOVEMBER is something I'll never understand. What's next? A baseball fan mailing in the season in April?

I'll worry about this in February, if it's still a problem.....which i very much doubt it WILL be.

Yes, I have already stated this earlier in the thread.

This time LAST YEAR....the Wolves were 5-6, and 5 1/2 games back. Who was calling for Flip's head then? [IMG]

Last year all that they had was KG. Their level of performance this year is unacceptable.

No one was calling for his head back then. Some people expect this team to win every single night because of the talented players they have. People need to recognize that team chemistry doesnt just happen over night. It takes time for that chemistry to be established and perfected. As the season goes on, the Wolves will get better. I am not worried at all by their play at the moment.
