http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/departed/Heaven has come calling for moviegoers to experience the purest, toughest and most unabashed Scorsese film since GoodFellas. It has a 95% rating on this website, it's going to be huge. I just saw this movie, everyone should see it, it's awesome, one of the best movies I've ever seen. The acting was great, the twists. Jack Nicholson was amazing. :worthy: :worthy: :worthy:
I am totally going to go see this sometime this weekend. Looks damn awesome. Glad to hear that someone has watched it on here already and says its aweome.
I've had this sig for at least a week or two. But I've seen Infernal Affairs, so I don't know if some of the twists will be as surprizing for me as they were for you. I hear Scorcese does change it up though and the performances are great. Can't wait to see it.
Does anyone know this was based on a Hong Kong movie? No, probably not, but that's pretty cool.Never seen either the HK one, or this remake, though.
I was supposed to see it last night but my friend bailed on my last second and said tonight she wanted to see Employee of the Month, which I heard sucked. Whatever, I'm going to end up seeing it regardless.
Employee of the Month looks so lame, I cannot believe Dane Cook was such a sellout and was in that movie.
Yeah, Employee of the Month looks like physical comedy (hint: that means it's only funny to people that have "-teen" in their age). I want to see The Departed, maybe I'll ask some people to go with me.

And my guess is more Asian movies will be remade as their the only movie makers actually creating new concepts/stories.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Uh, pretty sure Snakes on a Plane is not an Asian movie.</div> Yes what an ingenious concept by the Americans. But Snakes on a Plane is still a wannabe cult classic, you have to earn that title. Snakes on a Plane is simply another Blair Witch Project imo. ...waits for Justice League of American movie concepts to respond. :aggressive:

Wow, sounds like it is a great movie. I am going to make sure to go see it, prolly with my Dad, he is a big Goodfellas fan.
