    I'll be the first to admit there's a fair amount of cognitive dissonance within the political movement, but that doesn't invalidate the premise of the article.

    Also, wanting less government doesn't mean wanting no government.

    ...the current "Tea Party" as the corporate media will have you know it has actually been hi-jacked by the GOP. Ron Paul's platform is more in tune with the actual roots of the "Tea Party", sadly all of these imbeciles [Sarah Palin et al] that you see on TV have ruined it.

    Yeah, from what I've seen of Tea Party gatherings, they absolutely reek of dignity. :rolleyes2:

    The beauty of the Tea Party is there is no leader, no spokesperson. Those that fear the rise of the common citizen rebelling against the encroachment of the government in their lives are the ones promoting idiots like Sarah Palin as a "leader" of the Tea Party. Anytime you hear someone as a "leader" of this organic movement, you know it's a lie.
