I wouldn't say the best PF of all time, but I think he will be a perennial all-star and help lead us to the Finals(if not win them). He has pretty good footwork now downlow, but he just has a problem finishing. He already is ahead of expectations on blocking and rebounding and they can only go up.
He will have a great career, but I doubt he will be better than the likes of: Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Amare Stoudemire, etc...
He'll have a great career playing as a Power Forward. He's just un experienced as of now. It's going to take a few years before he gains enough experience and knowledge about the NBA before his career will really pick up.
I think he will be better than stoudamire easy, duncan and garnett is alot to surpass, but howard is already averaging similar stats to garnett in his first 3 seasons. Not bad. At 19 he is already a monster on the boards (1st person since duncan to get 2 20+ reb games in rookie season, and we still have half left). He has become more consistent. His shooting average is decent, and he has improved his FT in half a season, he doesnt take many shots, and doesnt miss that many really. He gets 10pts without really trying for points, and when we just look to him he can easy pick up over 20. Why I think that he will be better than stoudamire? Stoudamire is awsome, dont get me wrong, hes virtually unstopable going for a dunk, but hes in his 3rd season now, and a core starter for the suns, yet dwight still out rebs him. It looks like that they dont want to throw everything on dwight straight out, develop each part of his game. However AS is very selfish, but dwight has shown good court recognition and puts out some nice pass's. He could be a more complete player, like a garnett This season he will put up a double double, 10 and 10, next season a few more rebs, few more points? hes still only gonna be 20 then. 8 years till he hits his prime.
