Re: The Dynasty Is Over! Panthers for sure! Can't believe this! Broncos beat the Pats. Wow. This shows they are real contenders but let's see if they can handle the Colts.
Re: The Dynasty Is Over! Just because they don't win in every year doesn't mean the dynasty is over, if the Pats win it next year it's back. Jeez, if they won this year it would have been crazy, with all those injuries no team could ever win the Superbowl. With Harrison back next year and a bunch of other guys the Pats will win the AFC East and we'll see what they do in the playoffs.
Re: The Dynasty Is Over! What makes you think youll win the east? The Jets will hopefully have a real coach and a healthy team...The Dolphins came on strong last year, finished 9-7. The Bills have the talent to do somethings...No offense, but since 2003 the Pats have gotten consistantly worse and I dont see them as this dominant team anymore. I think they have become very beatable.
Re: The Dynasty Is Over! Okay but the Patriots had 45 different people start for them, they didn't have Rodney Harrison. Let me name you all the people who'll be back.Matt Light - T Daniel Koppen - C Rodney Harrison - S Tyrone Poole - CBChad Scott - CBRyan Claridge - LBGuss Scott - S Randall Gay - CBand then we will have a full heathly Corey Dillon and Tedy Bruschi. This Pats team looks good next year.To the teams in the East - Jets - There a mess, I hope they do get Eric Mangini because he's very unexperianced only 1 year as a coordinator and that's good for the Pats.Bills - J.P Losmon blows, he won't go anything for the Bills.Dolphins - Yes, they came on strong, there the # 2 team in AFC east. They need to find a QB first.Last year you said the Pats wouldn't win the divison, and they did.

Re: The Dynasty Is Over! Ok, so you had injuries, so what? That never affected the Patriots teams of the past.Matt Light - TDaniel Koppen - CRodney Harrison - S - Will he ever be back? He could very well retire.Tyrone Poole - CB - Always injured anyway...Chad Scott - CB - Sucked anyway...Ryan Claridge - LB - Who? lolGuss Scott - S - Sucked anyway...Randall Gay - CBBut since you wanted to list injuries....here is who the Jets had to play without this last seasonIRQB - Chad PenningtonQB - Jay FiedlerRB - Curtis MartinWR - Wayne ChrebetTE - Chris BakerC - Kevin MawaeRT - Jason FabiniRT - Marko CavkaLB - Eric BartonLB - Darrell McCloverS - Andre MaddoxMISSED A FEW GAMES (OR MORE)QB - Vinny TestaverdeRB - Derrick BlaylockFB - B.J. AskewWR - Laveranues Coles (Played Hurt)DE - Shaun EllisDT - Dewayne RobertsonCB - David BarrettIt's kinda hard to be competitive when you have almost 20 players on your roster injured...isnt it?To The Other teams in the East....Jets - Jack Del Rio has done very well with only one year as a coordinator, Andy Reid, Herman Edwards, Mike Tice were never coordinators before they accepted their head coaching jobs. The guy has 10 years of NFL Experiance studing under the Very Best such as Bill Parcells, Bill Belicheck, Charlie Weis, Romeo Crennell, Maurice Carthon, Dan Henning, Nick Saban, Pat Hill, ect, that is about as good of a resume as you can have. Just look at the work he has had to do with the Patriots secondary the last 2 seasons with all the injuries that they have had there and they still managed to not only be competitive, but very good....the guy had Troy Brown of all players as one of his nicklebacks and even had him play really well. Not only that, but why do you think the Dolphins, Patriots, and Browns were all fighting to hire this guy last offseason? The guy knows what hes doing and he would make a good Head Coach in this league, not to mention another serious loss for the Patriots.Bills- I agree that Losman blows, but who said the old man crew up in Buffalo will commit to staying with him. Kelly Holcomb has been the much better QB up there IMO, or they could find a way to bring in their own franchise QB such as a trade for someone like Garrard.DumPhins - I agree that they need a franchise QB, but even without one they managed to win something like 5 or 6 in a row. Imagine them if they add a Garrard, Volek, Schaub, Rivers, Maybe even Carr...or a rookie QB...scary thought, even with the Linebacker core born in the 1920's.I also predicted the Pats to be a 10-6 team and I was right, I just didnt expect that the other teams in the division would be as bad as they were....
Re: The Dynasty Is Over! Well I really hope you don't think the Jets are going to win the divison, maybe if they draft Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush and D'Brickashaw Ferguson but that wont' happen, obvisouly. Harrison should be back by the end of traning camp and you don't know how bad this team missed him. Claridge is a rookie who fits this D really well according to Belichick.

But at the same time....I dont think we will be 4-12 again either....I know we are better then a 4 win team and that with a real coach, and a relatively healthier team that we will be at least competitive. Im hoping for something like a .500 season.

Re: The Dynasty Is Over! I meant that when we dont have the worst in-game coach in the NFL, we will be a better team.Lets face the facts..Herm Edwards is the only head coach in the NFL that has to ask his offensive coordinator if he should accept the penalty or not.Herm Edwards is the only head coach in the NFL that has had to hire a "Clock Management Guru" and he still hasnt gotten it right.Herm Edwards is constantly out-gameplanned, he has not made a single in-game adjustment in 5 years now, He is way to loyal to his veterans, so much that he will play an ineffective veteran before he will play an effective younger player, and he is making the same inexperianced mistakes that he made 5 seasons ago. He lets his players get out of control, Ty Law and Kendall didnt even attend the tuesday meetings for half of the season, ect. Not to even mention the fact that he is horribly over-conservative.His ability to motavate players does not make up for his lack of ability to coach.
Re: The Dynasty Is Over! Dude stop your whining. you lost, its over........... who cares if you think the pats are gonna be good next year.
Re: The Dynasty Is Over! Dude I'm looking foward to next year, I started posting here again because this site knows it's stuff, don't ruin it. And I do want your team to win the Superbowl, they derserve it the most out of any team left. VeNom would do you really think will win the AFC East, really.

Nick Saban has done a hell of a job with the Dolphins so far, and if they can add a good QB, maybe someone like David Carr if the Texans decide to go another way or David Garrard and then try to get some more youth on that defense of theirs and I think they will be a 10-11 win team.I think the Pats will be competitive still, but I see them losing Mangini, Ashworth, and then their 2-3-4-5 WRs in Givens, Brown, Davis, Dwight are all free agents so their reciveing core is probably going to be in some trouble. Not to mention that some key pieces are reaching their old age in Dillon, McGuinest, ect. The Jets really need to just scrap their team and rebuild it from scratch, and a head coach from outside of the system like Mangini would help the Jets out alot there. Out with the old, in with the new...and the Bills.....well.....LMAO.
Re: The Dynasty Is Over! The team I never thought would lose due to turnovers lost... Due to turnovers

Losing Mangini isn't that bad, he's not ready to be a NFL coach just yet, give him one more year. The WR corp will take a hit but if we come out and draft a WR like Chad Jackson, Santonio Holmes, Martin Nance, Derek Hagan or Hank Baskett we'll be fine there. And your right, it's to early to tell talk to me after the draft.
