Re: The East's Fight For The Play-offs Here are the Teams that will be Fighting for the Final spot in the play-offs in the East.
EASTERN CONFERENCE

Philadelphia 76ers - 8th spot
The sixers are currently holding down the 8th and in final spot for the play offs. But right now they are starting to slip. Since A.I been back, they have been blown out by Orlando and Indiana. It hasnt been helping because the bulls are right on their tail. With a stepping out Webber and a soon to be 100% Iverson, the sixers could hold on to their spot. They play the Big boy Pistons and then a home and home with the No D Knicks.
Next 3 - Pistons - Knicks - Knicks

Chicago Bulls - 1.5 games back
The Bulls are currently 1.5 games back from the sixers and are gaining room fast, with two wins in a row. And it helps that the sixers have lost two in a row. With Ben Gordon back on the bench, him and Deng have lead them in those two wins over NO and Boston with 25 and 20. Chandler has been a beast on the boards averaging 16 ppg in the past two games. They play the strong front court of Orlando, then the lonely Bobcats, then the Celtics which they beat by 4 last sunday.
Next 3 - Magic - Bobcats - Celtics

Boston Celtics - 4 games back
The Celtics are currently 4 games back from the sixers and are dropping with 2 loses in row. From two hard battles with the Cavs and the Bulls who are right in front of them. They really need to step up and win some big games. Pierce has been the savor for this team leading them in scoring in 14 in the past 15 games and Ryan Gomes who came out of no where is tearing it up. Their next 3 are a so-so. They play the Knicks and Marbury, then a huge game vs the bulls, then with the currently Bosh-less raptors. They should come out 3-0 or 2-1.
Next 3 - Knicks - Bulls - Raptors
Made this yesterday
Re: The East's Fight For The Play-offs Eh, I think you can take the Celtics off the list. The race for the eighth spot is really just between Philly and Chicago. Boston needs a lot of luck to get in... winning the majority of their remaining games, and needing both Philly and Chicago to lose the majority of their remaining games. It can happen... but it isn't likely to occur.
Re: The East's Fight For The Play-offs Nice set up. Looks like you put some time into it.I think the Sixers will grab that 8th seed. If I were in contention It might cross my mind to miss it on purpose and get a lottery pick. Its not like any of the teams stand a chance against Detroit.

Re: The East's Fight For The Play-offs The Celtics are all but out, I'd rather not even make the playoffs this year, it's pointless.

Those balls are rarley accurate so who knows?
Re: The East's Fight For The Play-offs I think the Sixers will hold out and get the final playoff spot. Iverson won't allow them to miss the playoffs.
Re: The East's Fight For The Play-offs Should be a good battle between the Bulls and Sixers but I think the Sixers will hold out. They have more experience on their team and a slightly better offense. They will hold out.
Re: The East's Fight For The Play-offs The Sixers and Bulls still play each other two more times this year, so that may very well decide who gets that last playoff spot.
Re: The East's Fight For The Play-offs The Sixers will probably keep the spot. But no matter who get's it there not gonna beat the Spurs

Re: The East's Fight For The Play-offs I hope Chicago makes it.My cousin's favorite team is philly... I want to see their DOWNFALL!!!!
Re: The East's Fight For The Play-offs My brothers favorite team is Philly. He comes home from college every time they play Boston. We recorded that 3-OT game. It's a shame the sixers won.
Re: The East's Fight For The Play-offs Note the Nets can still catch Miami for the two seed. After beating them tonight, they are 3.5 games back with a rather weak schedule ahead..
Re: The East's Fight For The Play-offs If the Nets can get homecourt advantage, things could get very interesting. However, 3.5 games is a lofty amount, and I doubt they'll catch them
Re: The East's Fight For The Play-offs Im not saying they will..but fact is its possible, and not too far-fetched..
Re: The East's Fight For The Play-offs The Sixers should make the playoffs.....I dont want to make any bets against Allen Iverson. Hes got way too much heart
Re: The East's Fight For The Play-offs It's very possible, with Shaq out. but the nets have won 13 in a row, how much longer can they hold up?
