Last game of the regular season! Thank God! 82 games is absolute torture but it's almost over and now we can move on to meaningful games.
Will be interesting to see how the 3/4 seeds shake out in the Metro and Atlantic. A Carolina v TB series would be great to see. But really...any and all potential matchups are going to make for some great hockey. This should be a very entertaining Stanley Cup playoff. Let's go Rangers!

Pens up 3-0 early so it looks very likely it will be Pittsburgh round one.

Yup, and best matchup we could have hoped for I believe. Their starting goalie is hurt (and not that great anyway), they are a finesse team and don't have a lot of snarl or grit, and they are a top heavy team with 6 or 7 really good players and then a big drop-off.

    I'll say Rangers in 5 - maybe 6 - won't go 7 IMO.

Crybaby and his buddy Malkin might have the last run left in them. Letang is still pretty decent at his age as well. I would say it will still be a tough series.

Even though they grabbed the lead the Washington goalie has made some tremendous saves. Let Florida play them.

Carolina v Boston should be a very low scoring series. a lot of 2-1, 3-2 games is my guess.

Georgiev was actually quite solid down the stretch.

Yeah, he won 8 out of his last 9 starts I think.
