The crowd tonight was horrible, there was no applauding really, no noise, nothing. Most noise I heard was BOOS when Bill Laimbeer came up after the Pistons won the Shooting Stars thing..It was pitiful
Ya the crows was hideous. There were like no Ohhs. or anything. it was very quiet. And I heard a couple of boos as well. But then it was hard to hear, Reggie and the crew were too loud and kept laughing.
That's the problem with having a ASG in a place where millions of tourists go, most of which aren't big fans. Not to mention it's in a place where there are no NBA teams, so no hometown favorites.
The whole thing was terrible. The dunk contest stunk, no creativity, no want to win. The skills challenge was pretty much a jog. The fans weren't in it - all though, what did you expect from a horrible showing? TNT's cameras and television definition was all messed up. The buzzer and shot-clock in the arena were the worst peice of technology since the potato hat. The only bright spots were the 3 point shoot out and Chuck-Dick race.
man I got pissed afta the dunk comp. that all star saturday night is DEFINITELY not 1 of the best. the 3 point shoot out was good, evrythin else was lame
Of course people were booing Lambier, everybody loved to hate him when he played and hated to see him win it.
What did you guys expect? Vegas has no passion when it comes to sports, it's a town of immigrants that support teams from all over the league. ASG weekend should be in New York City every year, period.
I thought they were booing the fact that Chicago got disqualified. If not, then I'm sure they weren't booing. They must have been Laimbooeering!
