Do you think the players should have been ejected from the game?I don't...football is a contact, high intensity and large rivalry sport. Unless a player really gets out of had (punches to the head w/o a helmet, other ugly stuff), then just split the playersup, give them a warning, and let them take it out on hte field.
Mathis definately, he started the physical part of the fight, Trotter most definately should not of been ejected, he simply grabbed his facemask to restrain him, he did NOT throw a punch. that was rediculous. wanna know what i think? i think it was planned out before the game started, i bet they wanted the eagles AWESOME RUN STOPPER out of the game by forfeiting their bad nickleback cornerbackhonestly thats what i think, in order for the falcons to have a good game on the ground that is what had to happen

Just heard on the NFL Network that Mora gave Mathis the game ball...they spoke breifly about the fight and said that.An All-Pro LB and a backup CB/Nickelback sure is a nice trade off for the Falcons.
Trotter would of really annoyed the Falcons, maybe even shut them down. Never thought someone might of puposely started the fight, but that is possible. Maybe even smart on the part of Atlanta...

They shouldnt of kicked trotter out of the game he was just defending himself from the fight mathis started.
I didn't think that Trotter should of been kicked out, but he was, and that screwed the Eagles over. As JHair said, Trotter grabbed his facemask so he could defend himself. Bad call by the refs.
